Trainee Tiler / Bathroom Fitter

Position Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in the tiling and bathroom fitting industry. As a Trainee Wall & Floor Tiler at Opus Bathrooms Limited, you will work alongside our experienced professionals, learning the skills necessary to install tiles to a high standard. In addition to tiling, you will also gain experience in other aspects of bathroom installations, including general bathroom fitting, making this a well-rounded role for those eager to learn and develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tiling Learn how to prepare surfaces, measure, cut, and install tiles (wall and floor) with precision and care.
- Bathroom Fitting: Assist with other aspects of bathroom installations, including fitting toilets, sinks, showers, and other fixtures.
- Site Preparation: Ensure the work area is properly prepared, including cleaning and setting up for the installation process.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Motivated and Enthusiastic: A genuine interest in learning the trade and developing your skills further in the bathroom industry.
- Physically Fit: Tiling and bathroom fitting can involve manual labor, so being physically able to handle the demands of the job is important pre existing injuries may poss an issue to carry out your duties.
- Reliable and Punctual: A strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for precision and quality in all aspects of your work.
No Previous Experience Required:
This is a trainee position, so no prior tiling or bathroom fitting experience is necessary. However, a basic understanding of construction or DIY skills would be an advantage. What’s more important is your eagerness to learn and your commitment to developing your career with us.
Key Details:
- Full time employment. (PAYE preferred)
- 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday 8.00 - 16.30 excluding traveling time.
- Option for extra hours and overtime.
- You must hold a clean full UK driving licence and been driving for at least 3 years.

- Starting Salary will be £11.50 per/hour and will increase as candidate progresses through the training
